A character who spends 300 pages refusing to trust anybody should not suddenly become emotionally open because the story reached the final chapter. A selfish character should not become sacrificial because the climax needs them to. A coward should not turn fearless because the writer wants a heroic moment. A bitter person should not forgive years of pain after one speech unless the story has carefully built the emotional road that gets them there.

Eventually, you can become so busy tending everybody else’s field that you neglect the one God actually assigned to you. That is why one of the most important questions you can learn to ask is not simply, “Can I help?”

But Jesus did not come only to unlock doors. He came to set captives free. John 8:36 says, “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (NKJV). That verse does not describe partial freedom, pretend freedom or freedom that only exists in theory. It speaks of real freedom. Deep freedom. Freedom that reaches the heart, mind, spirit, identity and future.
