You may still have prayers waiting to be answered. You may still have dreams you have not reached and areas where you need to grow. But stop for a moment and look back. There may be things you can handle today that once would have broken you. There may be decisions you can make now that once terrified you.

Premiering on Kids’ WB on Sept. 9, 1995, Freakazoid! ran for only two seasons and 24 episodes from 1995 to 1997. Yet three decades later, this wonderfully strange Steven Spielberg-presented Warner Bros. cartoon feels almost more suited to our internet-driven world than the era that created it.

That is when wisdom becomes just as important as strength. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us: “But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
