This is post number 365. A full circle of obedience. A testimony that light still shines even when the lamp feels low. When I began posting Tony’s Soldiers of Light Sundays™ and the daily messages that followed, I didn’t have a plan—only a promise. God whispered, “If you speak what I give you, I’ll strengthen you for the journey.” What I didn’t know then was that obedience can be heavy. Purpose can ache.And even Soldiers of Light grow tired.

Sometimes your promotion comes after rejection. Sometimes your elevation happens in the very place where people tried to bury you. Sometimes God’s promotion bypasses all the people who overlooked you, doubted you, or even opposed you—and sets you in a position no one can explain except by saying, “Surely, the Lord did this.”

God’s protection is not only about shielding us in the midst of storms—it’s also about preventing certain storms from even touching us. There are moments when His favor steps in quietly, reroutes us, closes doors, or delays plans—not as punishment, but as protection. There are nights you slept peacefully because unseen angels were on assignment. There are jobs you didn’t get because He knew the environment would crush your spirit.

When you think of timeless heroes who transcended the screen and became cultural icons, few figures stand as tall and as radiant as Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman. Long before the explosion of superhero films and endless cinematic universes, Carter donned the golden tiara, bullet-deflecting bracelets, and red, white, and blue costume to show the world what it truly meant to be a warrior of truth, justice, and compassion.
