Today is Independence Day, and while many are celebrating with cookouts and fireworks, I want to take us deeper. Let’s reflect not only on America’s historical freedom—but also the divine freedom offered through Christ. And because I’m a storyteller at heart, we’ll also pull in a few powerful parallels from the 1996 movie “Independence Day.”
