God did not place purpose in you so you could bury it under fear. He did not give you creativity, wisdom, compassion, leadership, discipline, testimony, talent, skill, vision, or spiritual insight so you could spend your life pretending it is not there. He did not bring you through storms, teach you lessons, sharpen your character, and open your eyes just for you to hide everything He developed in you.

But prayer was never designed to replace wisdom. Prayer was never meant to excuse poor preparation. Prayer was never supposed to become a reason to avoid discipline, planning, healthy boundaries, or responsibility.

You may not be where you wanted to be by now, but that does not mean you cannot become who you need to be from this point forward. You may have lost time, momentum, focus, or discipline, but you have not lost the opportunity to plant something that can still grow. The seeds you plant in June can still change December.

And for Black History Month—especially the 7th day, when we honor not only Black achievement but Black endurance, Black spirituality, Black complexity, and Black legacy—Bloodwynd is a perfect spotlight. Not because he’s the most famous hero. Not because he’s the easiest hero. But because he represents something many stories avoid: Power that answers to morality. Justice that isn’t performative. Judgment that isn’t casual.

Many people pray for change while continually nourishing the very things holding them back: - Fear watered by constant worry - Discouragement watered by comparison - Anger watered by replaying old wounds - Faith starved by neglect The truth is simple but sobering: What you keep watering will grow.

This message is not about settling. It’s about recognition. Because one of the quickest ways to become discouraged is to forget what God has already grown around you. You may be waiting for more—but that doesn’t mean you have nothing.

Every field eventually grows things you did not intentionally plant. Weeds don’t ask permission. They spread quietly. They compete aggressively. And if left alone long enough, they overtake good seed. This post is not about condemnation. It is about clarity. Because one of the most dangerous spiritual mistakes we can make is praying for harvest while refusing to remove what is choking the field.
