Today on Favor Fridays with Tony™, I want to invite you into a deeper understanding of something that governs not only the world around us, but the spiritual atmosphere we live in: seasons. We often talk about favor in terms of blessings, breakthroughs, and opportunities. And yes, those are all valid demonstrations of favor. But there is a deeper, more sustaining kind of favor that doesn’t always come wrapped in answered prayers or material success.

We talk a lot about God’s favor—open doors, divine protection, supernatural provision—and rightly so. But the deepest, richest form of favor is access. The ability to talk directly to the Creator of heaven and earth. To whisper your fears, your dreams, your sins, your needs—and to know He hears. That’s favor.

But beyond the popcorn and nostalgia, I want to talk about something deeper—the favor of living in the time of superheroes. Not just in film or comic books, but in culture, community, and Christ. Let’s dive into what it means to grow up in a generation shaped by capes and courage—and how it’s prepared us to live with compassion, strength, and boldness.

In a world obsessed with resumes, platforms, and pedigree, God’s favor often falls on the least likely—the overlooked, underestimated, and even the rejected. Because where man sees limitations, God sees potential.

Because today, June 13, 2025, marks 17 years of marriage to the most amazing woman I’ve ever known—Tajuana Cheshier.

Belief is more than encouragement. It’s a form of favor that breathes life into dormant dreams, ignites courage, and validates worth. And when someone—be it a teacher, a friend, a sister, a mother, or a mentor—believes in you, they are reflecting the very nature of God. Because God believed in us first.
