Belief is more than encouragement. It’s a form of favor that breathes life into dormant dreams, ignites courage, and validates worth. And when someone—be it a teacher, a friend, a sister, a mother, or a mentor—believes in you, they are reflecting the very nature of God. Because God believed in us first.

For far too long, Black women have been fed a dangerous lie. A lie so insidious that it’s often passed down, internalized, and masked in applause: “You are only as valuable as what you can produce, provide, or perform.” But the truth is this: God never required you to earn what He’s already declared.

Words can uplift, but they can also wound. They can liberate, or they can imprison. They can heal, or they can destroy.

Women of faith have always been at the forefront of change, walking boldly in God’s calling, even when faced with great challenges.

Women are the pillars of faith, strength, and love in families, carrying the weight of generations while paving the way for the future.

Today I am recognizing the invaluable contributions of women throughout history. Women have been pillars of strength, resilience, and faith.

God’s favor grants influence, and throughout history, we see how women have used that influence to impact the world in powerful ways.

Women have played a profound role in shaping faith, leading communities, and standing as pillars of strength and wisdom.
